Rhonda Thorpe, MSN, CNM began her medical career as a medic for the Wyoming Air National Guard for 6 years. During her time with the Air National Guard, she was on Active Duty for Enduring Freedom following September 11, 2001. She has always had a passion for Obstetrics and pursued a nursing degree from Laramie County Community College in 2001, and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2009. Twelve years of her 15-year nursing career have been spent working in labor and delivery, she has spent the last 9 of those years at Memorial Hospital. In the fall of 2012, Rhonda was ready to follow her love of caring for pregnant women and her dream of becoming a certified nurse-midwife. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University in December 2014 with a Master of Science in Nursing/Midwifery. Rhonda is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and licensed by the state of Colorado. Rhonda strives to provide compassionate women-centered care and to empower women to have confidence and trust in their bodies. She lives in Monument, CO with her husband and 3 children. Her hobbies include photography, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
